Starting directly from the hut door, the Glacier Crest Traverse ascends through vibrant alpine meadows populated by marmots before transitioning into polished granite slabs and moraine ridges. You will follow secure, well-marked paths along the edge of the Floite glacier with panoramic vistas across the Austrian and Italian alpine divide. Suitable for sure-footed hikers in good physical condition.
